Dear colleagues,

Details can be found at, and you should follow the links to get more information about the various events (such as the course about Varifolds by Kolasinski and Menne and the course about Noncommutative function theory by Vinnikov).

The semester will include the 2016 edition of the “Journées” (annual meeting) of the GdR AFHP (Analyse fonctionnelle et Harmonique et Probabilités), which will take place in Toulouse at the Université Paul Sabatier from Monday, October 10, at noon, to Wednesday, October 12, at 1 pm, followed by two intensive courses from October 12 to 14, by John E. McCarthy and Alexei Poltoratski. See .

We will announce a final list of main speakers in an upcoming message, but among those who have confirmed their participation are Frédéric Bernicot, Emmanuel Breuillard, Eugenia Malinnikova, Javier Parcet, and Xavier Tolsa.

There will be some space for shorter talks at the Journées du GdR, and special attention will be given to younger researchers. If you wish to give a talk, please mention it in your registration e-mail and include a 10 to 15 line abstract.

Some funding will be available for younger participants (doctoral students and post doctoral researchers especially) for both the Journées and the subsequent intensive courses.
